“Your word was my delight and the joy of my heart”
Jeremiah 15:16
The Milk Grotto has been venerated since early Christian times as the site where the Virgin Mary suckled the Infant Jesus. Today the cloistered Sacramentine nuns who live in monastery attached to the sanctuary, offer perpetual Eucharistic adoration at this sacred site. The liturgy begins with the hymn "Adoro te devote" followed by a reflection on Psalm 64:14-15 "The river of God is brimming with water; you have provided their food, for this is how you prepare it" by St. Hilary (4th century); it ends with the hymn "Tantum ergo". http://elwebcast.blogspot.com/
