The Duns Scotus Bible Centre was invited to participate at the FABC-OE Seminarin in Pastoral Centre, Phattaya, Thailand during 5-8, December 2013.
The Duns Scotus Bible Centre was invited to participate at the FABC-OE Seminarin in Pastoral Centre, Phattaya, Thailand. The Congress was held by the The FABC Office of Evangelization(FABC-OE) during 5-8, Dec., 2013. The main theme of the congress was "Crossing the Borders: Renewed Biblical Apostolate for New Evangelization" . There were 115 delegates including archbishops, bishops, priests, missioners, nuns and lay people from 19 countries and cities. Duns Scotus Bible Centre delegated Sr. Laura Watt and Mr. Dominic Tam to attend the congress. The congress included five conferences hosted by Archbishop T.Menamparampil, Fr. R.O'Toole, Fr. T.Manjaly, Biship D.Pablo and Cecilia Chui, the titles of the conferences were "I have an obligation to all peoples", "Mission of the Church", "St. Paul New Evangelization and Biblical Pastoral Ministry", "Evangelii Gaudium of Pope Francis : Orientation for Biblical Apostolate Interaction" and "Lessons for Blessed Gabriel Allegra for Biblical Apostolate". The participants were very animated and asked many questions in the forums after the conferences. The participants were requested to join the 3 workshops and also discussed the local life situation and culture based on the pastoral cycle: Situationer, Social Analysis, Theological Reflection and Action Plan.
